AZ Event Connect (AZEC) is a proud women-owned local business. Our founder, Kristen Martinez, prides herself as a Business & Community Developer who partners with companies and community partners alike to attract qualified candidates and create opportunities to increase awareness of AZ Event Connect's recruitment services all over the United States.

After spending over 7 years working in Human Services and Workforce Development, Kristen knows what truly drives the connection of qualified candidates and the companies that need them; and it's not just telling someone to apply. It's how well you connect with the heart-beating people you're trying to help and communicate your understanding back tot hem. Kristen has committed her time volunteering in the community to provide career-readiness workshops and events that help prepare yesterday's job seekers for the jobs of today. This is all done to ensure that the connections between those seeking a new employment opportunity and those offering, are made.

In addition to her extensive Workforce Development experience, Kristen is a co-founder of a local non-profit, that provides youth mentorship and scholarship to inner city high school youth in Arizona. She strives to break the cycle of negative statistics in our communities and mentor those youth that will help to shape our future.

Recently, Kristen also founded AZ Hire Me, a local non-profit that provides the community with employment based resources to help eliminate barriers to employment. This is done through job fairs, job readiness workshops, community events and one on one individual support.
